In American culture, many claim a political party whether it be Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or any other party. I have a difficult time claiming any sort of party affiliation, since it's pretty clear that there is corruption on every level. Not to mention we have limited access to information. The information on any given topic/situation is then projected by the reporter, who adds their own spin or bias. It's difficult to know when you're being told the truth, being lied to or just being given information that is widely believed but isn't accurate. I won't go so far as to tell you what to believe in this area. However, when we learn to try and set our own bias aside and look at information critically, we end up getting a better perspective. As dealt with in other areas of this site, it's important to first address why we hold the particular worldview that we do. If our beliefs are rooted in truth, it's much easier to discern the information we're given by the media. Listed below are some links to a wide variety of sources.
